We Love This Little Life: 2024 Lifestyle Trends

Quality of life is trending for 2024; from sporty date nights to upgrading your home coffee station, and we’re here for it. Here's our take on the year’s top lifestyle trends from Account Director, Brett Depper Goldstein.

While we don’t claim to be fortune-tellers, as we ease into the new year there are a few trends in the lifestyle realm that we expect (and some we just hope) will dominate 2024. We’ve rounded up the top five below.

Between the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris and Taylor Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, the Jock may be cool again, according to The New York Times. In 2024, an interest in sports will continue to gain momentum and permeate across the lifestyle space. We expect people from all walks of life to get in on the action from date nights at Swingers Crazy Golf to ski vacations in the mountains (may we suggest staying at Limelight Aspen?).

With interest rates at record highs, more and more people are choosing to rent property long-term, a phenomenon The Wall Street Journal calls ‘The Rise of the Forever Renter.’ However, this shift in lifestyle isn’t at the expense of quality of life. In some instances, consumers are turning to creative design solutions to personalize their homes from temporary wallpaper to investing in more major upgrades. Meanwhile, others are taking this opportunity to work remotely while traveling the globe, from the Viceroy Bali to the NoMad London

Experts anticipate renewed enthusiasm in personal health and wellness following the Ozempic obsession that fueled 2023. No longer just looking for a quick fix, consumers are opting to incorporate lifestyle changes for long term results. From sustained social media breaks to cold plunges to Dry January and beyond, we are focused on improving mind, body and spirit. So instead of scrolling TikTok past your bedtime, treat yourself by mixing a zero-proof Spritz with Giffard’s Non-Alcoholic Grapefruit Liqueur and lighting your favorite Apotheke candle to relax.

If you’ve already begun disconnecting from social media then you may have missed some of the most viral beauty treatments, but there is one in particular that is piquing our interest. With over 688.6 million views and counting, “#headspa” has become a favorite beauty trend on social media for influencers and their followers. Part massage, part scalp remedy, this relaxing treatment increases circulation and works to control oil.

According to Pinterest Predicts, searches for “coffee bar styling” have increased 1,125% leading some to believe at-home coffee stations will replace the bar cart aesthetic. Recreate the cafe culture at home with Breville’s Barista Impress Series for the ultimate coffee experience. Make the space your own with a display of vintage mugs, selection of flavors and toppings and a chalkboard sign.
