Rachel Harrison | Founder
Before founding Rachel Harrison Communications, Rachel was the co-founder of the award-winning Lion & Lamb Communications. She helmed the agency for six exciting years, creating unique partnerships and relationships which expanded awareness of the companies and brands she worked with. Her leadership also helped the agency achieve Inc Magazine’s “Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America” award.
Before venturing out on her own, Rachel’s experience was broad and well-heeled. She has 22 years of branding, marketing, and communications experience from previous roles as Chief Marketing Officer for Chris Blackwell’s Island Outpost Resorts, Director of Marketing and Communications for Andaz by Hyatt (where she led the communications strategy to bring Hyatt public), and Senior Vice President at Dan Klores Communications (DKC). With her talented team, Rachel has helped her clients achieve global awareness, incredible growth, and win coveted awards from The World’s 50 Best Award to making the Gold List and everything between.
Rachel’s extensive hospitality, spirits, technology, fashion, art, and design background allows her to find trends across multiple industries. As a Boston native with 17 years in New York and four years in London and Northern Ireland, Rachel continues to travel the world exploring and uncovering what people are looking for next.
AmandaSenior Director
With a passion for food and beverage, Amanda has a decade of experience within the spirits and hospitality industry. Goal-oriented and results-driven, she has had extensive experience leading a handful of creative programs for Jose Cuervo Tequila, PUBLIC Hotel, Herschel Supply Co, KITH, Coca-Cola, and many more. Amanda has executed influencer and press campaigns, developed content, and assisted with managing social media channels. As a result, she has developed a deep understanding of a multitude of PR and marketing techniques. She is a driven and hands-on integral part of the team, with ample experience planning events, press trips, and executing strategic campaigns. Amanda is all about teamwork and drives her colleagues to accomplish challenging tasks, but always with a bright smile. In her spare time, you can find her at a workout class, trying new restaurants, and traveling with friends. Amanda comes to RHC after four years serving as Senior Director at Lion & Lamb Communications. Before that, she worked at agencies including Exposure USA and THINK PR.

With a background in creative production, Lucy Ballantyne offers RHC her expertise in both the inventive and practical side of the media and hospitality industries. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she completed her Communications and Film degrees from institutions in Australia and Italy. Relocating to New York City saw Lucy working on productions for brands such as Helmut Lang, Rag + Bone, and Heineken, and handling communications for luxury travel destinations, operators, and hotels on every continent. After four years in which she worked as an Account Director for Rachel at Lion & Lamb Communications, Lucy joined RHC as a trustworthy and loyal client resource.

CassSenior Director
Cass Lovett joins RHC with a passion for the fast-paced nature of public relations and sharing the stories behind exceptional experiences. Before joining RHC, Cass worked with Rachel at Lion & Lamb Communications for five years, where she served as an Account Director for the agency’s lifestyle division. Cass loves working with entrepreneurs, developing strategies, and maintaining expert knowledge of the media landscape. Her experience runs the gamut from working with small businesses and start-ups to large hospitality brands. Client work includes W Hotels of New York, Greydon House, Birch Coffee, Cuba Travel Network, and Studio 11 Design, covering destinations from South Florida to South Africa. After spending a decade working agency-side in New York City, Cass went remote to learn more about the travel industry—and the world—firsthand. Cass holds a B.S. from Babson College in Business Administration and is a certified scuba diver and yoga teacher. She loves travel, design, technology, and working with the tight-knit team at RHC.

Daniel Schwartz is a writer, editor, and photographer within the luxury travel and hospitality space. Before joining RHC, he was an editor at the award-winning travel publication Fathom, where he oversaw a fleet of freelancers covering the best in high-end travel around the world. He managed Fathom’s social media strategy and audience acquisition efforts; produced branded content for partners including Bermuda Tourism Authority, Kate Spade, and Chase Sapphire Reserve; and developed brand extension products, including the coffee table book, Travel Anywhere (And Avoid Being a Tourist), (Hardie Grant Travel, April 2019). His photography has appeared in Vogue, Town and Country, Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, Forbes, and Huffington Post.

A passionate traveler and foodie, Jill has more than five years of extensive travel, hospitality, and lifestyle experience. A New Jersey native, she has successfully planned and executed PR strategies and initiatives for several notable clients, including Oceania Cruises, Woodpecker by David Burke and Eurail, the Harley-Davidson Museum, Disney Parks & Resorts, the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, the Angad Arts Hotel, Jacques Torres Chocolates, Citymeals on Wheels, Taste of the NFL, South African Tourism, Red Lion Hotels (RLH) Corporation, by CHLOE., Beyond Sushi, and more. A genuine people person, Jill cultivates meaningful relationships with journalists to drive press coverage and create brand advocates for her clients. After graduating from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, Jill started her career at Coyne PR in the agency’s travel practice. From there, she’s served as a Senior Account Executive at NJF PR, a Senior Publicist at The Brooks Group, and was most recently a Senior Account Supervisor at Lion & Lamb Communications, working with Rachel before joining RHC.
AndyDirector - West Coast
Based in Los Angeles, Andy’s 17-year public relations career has taken him around the globe and provided opportunities to work in many facets of the travel industry, including hotel companies, destinations, and airlines. Andy began his travel PR career working for Hilton Hotels for five years in corporate and on-property positions before joining Visit West Hollywood as Director of Communications. For more than seven years, he led the organization’s global PR efforts, working hand-in-hand with the city’s trendsetting hospitality, culinary, nightlife, retail and design communities to amplify awareness of this progressive enclave. Most recently, Andy has worked for respected PR agencies representing major brands and travel products, including Delta Air Lines, Princess Cruises, Visit Victoria (Australia), the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, VistaJet, JetSuite, Alila Hotels & Resorts, The London West Hollywood, and more. Andy is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he fell in love with Los Angeles and has never left.

With a background in many aspects of hospitality, Sacha has a particular love for the cocktail bar and spirits industries. She brings knowledge and understanding of this infectious industry from two of its principal operating cities worldwide. Born in the UK’s beautiful Lake District region, Sacha moved to London at a young age. She completed an intensive degree program in Media and Communications at the world-famous Goldsmiths College. During her time there, Sacha discovered the London Cocktail Club, where she worked with Founder JJ Goodman in a series of progressive roles, helping to grow the seven-venue bar group. With her sights on the Big Apple, she crossed the pond to join Lion & Lamb Communications in 2015. Now, at RHC, Sacha continues to work as a trusted and reputable contact for clients, with a flair for creative writing and genuine adoration for public relations.

A native New Yorker, Ilana combines her passion for hospitality and her proactive, goal-oriented nature into her Senior Publicist role at RHC. Before joining RHC, Ilana worked with Rachel at Lion & Lamb Communications. Her clients included W Hotels of New York and Dream Hotels. Having started her career at a luxury travel agency, working on clients including the Sonoma County tourist board and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Ilana brings a strong knowledge of the travel and hospitality space, writing skills, organization, creativity, and media relations to the team. Her adoration for New York City led her to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Living and breathing her appreciation for the hospitality space, you’ll find Ilana sipping wine in the North Fork in her spare time and planning her next vacation.
HudsonDigital Strategist
Hudson has always been passionate about two things: storytelling and gourmet food and drink. These two interests have made him a natural fit for the PR and communications field. After starting his career in the marketing and digital analytics sector for such clients as Ford Motor Company, he transitioned into a PR role at Quinn PR. Hudson has substantial experience working on challenging projects/clients, including launching Unagi (the first and only Japanese eel restaurant in the U.S. to source its eels live from Japan), Angelina Paris, The William Vale, and Hilton Hotels. He’s also worked on successful cocktail and wine campaigns for Del Frisco’s, W South Beach, Zumba Miami, and Merriman’s and Handcrafted Restaurants. Hudson’s media relations skills and a keen ear for narrative have helped him land clients in The New York Times, Departures, Eater, The New Yorker, The New York Post, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, and WWD. A proud alumnus of Michigan State University, Hudson enjoys cheering on Spartan basketball and football. He is also a dedicated cheeseburger connoisseur and is always traveling the world to find the perfect cheddar to pair with a glass of red wine.

An avid traveler and a people person, Megan realized her passion for public relations when she began her career with Lion & Lamb Communications after graduating from the University of Maryland – College Park. She now joins RHC as a Publicist with experience spanning the hospitality, lifestyle, and food and beverage industries. Megan enjoys the fast-paced nature of the public relations industry and is passionate about connecting with clients and her team to achieve real results. In her spare time, you’ll find Megan exploring New York City or planning her next trip.

A food-obsessed travel enthusiast, Paige began her career as a Junior Publicist at Lion & Lamb Communications after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Journalism from the University of Delaware. Paige now joins RHC as a Publicist with clients ranging from spirit to travel such as Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey, Eastwind Hotel & Bar, Bedford Post Inn, and Bar Convent Brooklyn. In her spare time, you can find her exploring new bars and restaurants around New York City.
RobynBusiness Operations
Robyn was born and raised in New Jersey. Her Italian and French roots inspired her love and appreciation for food and wine early on. Robyn went to the University of Rhode Island, where she studied abroad in Barcelona and Belize and graduated with a Cultural Anthropology and Communications degree. Robyn’s love for celebrating and exploring various cultures, food, people, and destinations led her to pursue a career in PR. When she’s not working, Robyn would most likely be planning her next road trip.
