Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage ideated their first concept, Black Lagoon, after running a pop-up at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans’ infamous Dungeon Bar. Following, the first installment of Black Lagoon took over a popular bar in Toronto in October 2021 and was a massive success to cocktail and Halloween enthusiasts alike. This year, they set up shop in 18 cities internationally throughout North America, Mexico and France. With the success of Black Lagoon under their belt, the two wanted to transform another holiday into a spooky wonderland and launched Krampus’ Cove in Los Angeles in 2022 at Lost Property Bar and expanded to a second location in New York in 2023 at Someday Bar. Krampus’ Cove is much more than just a bar pop-up. It’s an immersive experience that takes the traditional celebrations surrounding Christmas and turns them on their head in a dark and twisted way. Krampus’ Cove celebrates the pulpy and macabre legend of Krampus and throws in some naughty elves, evil snowmen and more, all with innovative and delicious seasonally-inspired cocktails.
