KILN
Inspired by Alexandria’s first documented potter, Henry Piercy, whose kiln once stood blocks away from Hotel Heron, KILN serves as a community gathering spot, offering all-day dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a welcoming atmosphere. The menu will showcase beloved classics, skillfully reimagined with a contemporary twist, as well as locally inspired dishes that celebrate the best of the Chesapeake Bay and beyond. Breakfast and lunch at KILN will feature traditional dishes spotlighting top-notch regional ingredients, while dinner will reflect the team’s professional and personal journeys, coming to life in dishes like potato bread crafted with locally sourced seaweeds dried and a whole roasted chicken roasted and smoked over KlLN’s hearth. Leaning into the coffee-til-cocktails lifestyle, the restaurant creates a cozy ambiance through earthy hues and unique touches, including silk-screened tiled walls, locally crafted furnishings from Austin Morris and Beachley, and regionally sourced leather accents.
