Located on the west end of Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Flor de Sal is the property’s newest culinary program and offers an unparalleled al fresco dining experience inspired by the regions of Italy and the Mediterranean. Featuring salt as a key differentiator, Flor de Sal showcases the tradition of staving off bad luck by throwing salts over the shoulder and highlighting salt in the dishes themselves. A casual, yet refined Italian-inspired experience with family-style meals and a modern flair,  Flor de Sal prepares locally-sourced meat, poultry and fish with salt and offers tableside presentations to create an epicurean foodie adventure. Featured dishes include Polipo Arrosto, a charcoal grilled octopus with Gaeta olive power, shrimp broth and squid ink coral, Caviar served with basil crème fraiche, limoncello jelly, poached quail egg and blini and a Risotto Pescatore with butter poached lobster, clams, Sardinian mussels, crispy calamari, seafood broth and Calabrian chiles. In addition to lunch and dinner services, Flor de Sal celebrates the cultural tradition of Aperitivo with an Aperitivo hour where guests can focus on socializing before dinner while enjoying sunset-hued cocktails.
